Terms of Use
Last updated: 19 October 2026
These terms apply when you use EarlyBird (earlybirdhq.com and app.earlybirdhq.com). By using EarlyBird or creating an account, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we use your data.
1. About us
EarlyBird is a product of Cress Digital Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11901755), registered address 25 Parsonage Lane, Bristol, BS40 8DG. You can contact us at hello@earlybirdhq.com.
2. What EarlyBird is (and isn't)
- EarlyBird helps you find apprenticeships, graduate schemes, internships, placements and other early-careers roles. We collect listings from employers' own careers websites and public sources such as the government's apprenticeship service.
- We're not an employer or a recruitment agency. We don't make hiring decisions or take part in recruitment, and we don't guarantee you'll get an interview or a job.
- You apply on the employer's website. Their own terms and privacy policy apply to your application.
- Check the details with the employer. We work hard to keep listings accurate and up to date, but employers can change or close roles at any time. Some information, such as summaries, salaries, deadlines and categories, is organised or written with the help of automated tools and may occasionally be wrong. The employer's own advert is always the final word.
- EarlyBird is free for job seekers.
3. Who can use EarlyBird
You must be 13 or older to create an account. If you're under 18, we recommend telling a parent, guardian or teacher that you're using EarlyBird. Parents, guardians, teachers and careers advisers are welcome to use EarlyBird to support young people.
4. Your account
- Give accurate information, and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
- One account per person, for your own use.
- Tell us straight away at hello@earlybirdhq.com if you think someone else has used your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete my account.
5. Using EarlyBird fairly
Please don't:
- break the law, or use EarlyBird to harass, mislead or harm anyone
- copy, scrape or download EarlyBird's content in bulk, or use bots or automated tools to access it
- try to get into accounts or parts of EarlyBird you're not meant to, or interfere with how it works
- use EarlyBird to advertise or sell things without our permission
If you do, we may suspend or close your account.
6. Content and ownership
EarlyBird's design, branding, guides and software belong to us. Job adverts and employer names, logos and trade marks belong to their owners, and we show them to help you find opportunities. You can use EarlyBird for your own personal, non-commercial career search.
If you think something on EarlyBird infringes your rights or is wrong, tell us at hello@earlybirdhq.com and we'll look into it quickly.
7. Emails
We'll send you emails you need to use your account, the alerts you set up, and only the marketing emails you choose. You can change all of these in Profile → Email preferences. Our Privacy Policy explains more.
8. Links to other websites
EarlyBird links to employers' and other organisations' websites. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, their recruitment processes or how they use your data.
9. Changes to EarlyBird
We're always improving EarlyBird, so features may change, and we may pause or stop parts of the service. We'll try to give you notice of anything important. We aim to keep EarlyBird running smoothly but can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
10. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law, and nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer.
Otherwise, because EarlyBird is a free service that points you to opportunities run by others, we're not responsible for:
- employers' decisions, adverts, recruitment processes or treatment of your application
- losses caused by relying on a listing without checking it on the employer's website
- losses we couldn't reasonably have foreseen, or that are caused by events outside our reasonable control
- business losses: EarlyBird is for personal use only
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If the changes are important we'll tell you by email or on EarlyBird before they take effect. If you keep using EarlyBird after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can delete your account.
12. The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
