Want to know what life as a trainee at Michelmores could really be like?
Our week-long Vacation Scheme in Bristol gives you the opportunity to experience the firm from the inside. You’ll spend time in one of our teams, take part in skills and knowledge-building workshops, and meet trainees and colleagues from across the firm.
It’s your chance to get a real feel for our work, our people and our culture, while developing your skills and exploring whether Michelmores is where you want to start your legal career.
As part of the Vacation Scheme, you’ll complete a number of assessments which form part of our Training Contract selection process. Successful candidates will be offered a Training Contract with Michelmores.
Your Training Contract
Your Training Contract is about more than qualifying as a solicitor. It’s an opportunity to explore different areas of law, discover where your strengths and interests lie, and start shaping the career you want.
You’ll be based in Bristol or Exeter, complete four six-month seat rotations and have a say in your seat choices, because no two trainee journeys are the same.
You’ll also have opportunities to undertake secondments in our London, Cambridge or Cheltenham offices, giving you the chance to experience another Michelmores office during your Training Contract.
Throughout your Training Contract, you’ll have plenty of support to help you develop and shape your career. Our Training Principal will provide coaching and guidance around your seat choices and career aspirations, alongside ongoing support from your supervisors, trainee buddy and HR, as well as a tailored personal development programme.
