Trainee Driver - Hourly

Stagecoach is offering a career as a bus driver with fully paid training to gain your PCV licence and a Level 2 Apprenticeship Qualification.

What You'll Do

• Complete industry-leading training to secure your PCV licence, followed by ongoing CPC training and professional development as part of your Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship.
• Drive a fleet of buses safely, smoothly, and with confidence.
• Ensure every customer has a great journey.
• Deliver top-notch customer service, assisting people of all ages and backgrounds.
• Create a welcoming environment where customers feel respected, cared for, and looked after.
• Work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

What You Need to Apply

• Be 18 years old or over.
• Hold a full UK driving licence for at least 2 years with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Right to work in the UK (minimum 183 days in the UK as per DVLA requirement).
• A patient, safe, and courteous approach to driving.
• A positive, friendly attitude and a passion for delivering great customer service.
• A willingness to learn and be part of a brilliant team.

Pay and Benefits

• Training Pay: £15.14 per hour.
• Qualified Pay: £16.49 per hour (annual earnings of £33,441.72 based on 39 hours per week).
• Shift Patterns: 4 or 5 days over 7 days.
