Trainee Bus Driver

No experience is needed to start your career as a Trainee Bus Driver with Stagecoach. We offer fully paid training to help you gain your PCV licence and complete a Level 2 Apprenticeship Qualification.

This role is based at our Oldham Depot in Greater Manchester.

Pay

• During training: £14.30 per hour
• After training (Mon-Fri): £16.02 per hour
• After training (Sat-Sun): £18.41 per hour
• With valid PCV licence or after 9 months service: £19.06 per hour

What You'll Be Doing

• Completing industry-leading training to secure your PCV licence, with ongoing CPC training and professional development.
• Gaining your Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship.
• Driving a fleet of buses safely and smoothly.
• Ensuring passengers have a great journey and feel respected and cared for.
• Providing top-notch customer service.
• Working flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

What You Need to Apply

• Be 18 years old or over.
• Hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Have the right to work in the UK (minimum 183 days in the UK as per DVLA requirement).
• A patient, safe, and courteous approach to driving.
• A positive, friendly attitude and a passion for delivering great customer service.
• A willingness to learn and be part of a team.
