Trainee Bus Driver - Gloucester

Stagecoach is offering a career as a Trainee Bus Driver at their Gloucester depot. No prior experience is necessary as the company provides fully paid training to help you gain your PCV licence and a Level 2 Apprenticeship Qualification.

What You'll Be Doing

• Completing industry-leading training to secure your PCV licence, followed by ongoing CPC training and professional development as part of your Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship.
• Driving the company's fleet safely and smoothly.
• Ensuring every customer has a great journey.
• Delivering top-notch customer service.
• Creating a welcoming environment for customers.
• Working flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

What You Need to Apply

• Be 18 years old or over.
• Hold a driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Have the right to work in the UK, meeting DVLA residency requirements (minimum 183 days in the UK and ordinarily resident for the last 3 years, or meet alternative criteria).
• A patient, safe, and courteous approach.
• A positive, friendly attitude and a passion for delivering great customer service.
• A willingness to learn and be part of a team.

Pay and Benefits

• Training Pay: £15.00 per hour during the 6-8 week training period.
• Qualified Driver Earnings: Typical annualised earnings of £32,200 based on 38 hours per week.
• Overtime: Opportunities available.
