Paid Training for Your PCV and CPC Qualifications
First Bus is looking for Trainee Bus Drivers in Halifax. If you have held a full UK driving licence for at least 6 months, we will provide paid training to help you obtain your PCV and CPC qualifications. Upon successful completion of your training, you will be responsible for transporting customers safely within your local community.
New Driver Training Programme
Our comprehensive training programme lasts for 13 months, offering support throughout your first year in the role. You will be trained by industry experts and specialist partners through various interactive sessions covering topics such as customer service, incident management, and safeguarding.
In addition to earning a First Bus – level 2 bus driving apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to achieve a nationally recognised qualification in Maths & English, if required.
