Pay Rate
- Weekdays: £13.70 per hour for the first 12 months, rising to £14.00 between 12-24 months service, and then £16.00 per hour.
- Weekends: £14.15 per hour for the first 12 months, rising to £14.45 between 12-24 months service, and then £16.45 per hour.
- Bank Holiday: A £30 bonus is paid per shift.

Hours of Work and Role
- A rotating shift pattern of 5 days in 7, published up to 6-8 weeks in advance.
- Shifts include mornings (starting from 04:00), afternoons (starting from 12:00), and evenings (starting from 18:00) on a rotational basis. Fixed shifts for early, afternoon, or evenings are not available.
- Overtime is available upon request and subject to availability.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age for the Ashington depot.
- Must have held a driving licence for a minimum of 6 months.
- No more than 6 points on your licence.
- Must undergo a drug and alcohol test before your assessment.
- Must pass an English comprehension test.
- Excellent people skills.
- Flexibility is required, as shifts can start as early as 4 AM and finish no later than 1 AM, depending on the start time.
