About the Placement

Embark on a 12-month transformative journey in the Sustainability Department at Hilton's EMEA Headquarters in Watford. This placement offers a structured framework of learning and development, business support, and ownership of project-based initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Support hotels with the Travel with Purpose (TWP) Pledges programme.
  • Develop communications for hotels, owners, and corporate partners.
  • Coordinate enterprise-wide TWP initiatives and events.
  • Plan content for quarterly EMEA TWP Champions Network updates.
  • Undertake performance analytics and develop PowerBI dashboards.
  • Support internal requests from EMEA stakeholders.
  • Adapt to the evolving sustainability space.

What We're Looking For:

  • A current bachelor’s or master’s student requiring a 12-month year in industry placement.
  • Studying a degree in or related to Environment Studies, Geography, Sustainability, Environmental Management, International Development, Sustainable Development, Climate Change/Systems, Earth Sciences, or Hospitality.
  • Availability to start full-time on 5th July 2027 for 12 months.
  • Independent right to work in the UK for the full duration (no visa sponsorship available).
  • Fluency in English.
  • A strong passion for sustainability and social impact.
  • Resilience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
  • Beneficial IT skills: Excel and PowerBi.
  • Ability to analyse large data sets and make recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain sustainability matters to non-technical colleagues.

Salary & Benefits:
