About the Role
This is a 12-month industrial placement within PepsiCo's Supply Chain team, focusing on Manufacturing Excellence. You will work on real projects, contributing to initiatives that impact major brands.
Responsibilities
In this placement you will:
- Contribute to manufacturing excellence initiatives, including commercial change projects, change management systems and continuous improvement activities.
- Support the rollout and embedding of Daily Management Systems across manufacturing teams.
- Participate in Integrated Work System pillar deployment activities to strengthen operational capability and performance.
- Lead process improvement teams to identify the root causes of performance issues and implement effective improvement initiatives.
- Support the development and deployment of productivity and capital investment programmes, including projects involving advanced automation equipment.
- Be given real-life objectives to work on and will be expected to make a noticeable contribution to your department.
What are we looking for?
- Students who have the full RTW for the duration of the full time placement (July 2027-July 2028).
- Students currently in their penultimate year of university studies, where the course includes the option of completing a sandwich placement before returning to study after the placement.
- Following a path to a degree in Business Management or closely related disciplines.
