  • Applications open from 28th September 2026 to 27th November 2026.
  • Earn a salary while training and have all tuition fees paid.
  • Requires A-Levels or equivalent, with specific GCSE requirements also noted.

About the Role

The Mishcon Solicitor Apprenticeship is a six-year programme that leads to qualification as a solicitor. You will gain an LLB (Hons) in Legal Practice from The University of Law. All tuition fees will be paid, and you will earn a salary while training.

This programme is based in our London office, working across six departments: Corporate; Dispute Resolution; Employment; Innovation; Private; and Real Estate. The first four years involve annual rotations, followed by two years of six-month rotations alongside graduate trainees. You will work four days per week and study one day per week with The University of Law.

Qualification

Upon completion of the six-year apprenticeship, you will be a qualified solicitor. After four years, you will have obtained an LLB. The fifth and sixth years will focus on the Solicitors Qualifying Exams (SQE).

Academic and competency training will be provided by The University of Law through a combination of work-based and online supervised study, alongside practical and academic activities at ULaw campuses. This prepares apprentices for SQE Parts 1 and 2, enabling them to apply for admission as solicitors. Apprentices will also complete ULaw assessments for an LLB in Legal Practice and Skills (Hons).

Future Prospects

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will be a fully qualified solicitor registered with the Solicitors Regulatory Authority (SRA). You will then be invited to apply and interview for a permanent Associate Solicitor role.

Throughout the programme, you will receive comprehensive support:

  • Supervisors: Assigned in each seat to provide mentorship, training, and feedback.

  • Mentor: A senior Solicitor to guide you through the programme.
