About the Role
This is a 23-month rotational programme designed to give you exposure to Lidl's core business areas and build your leadership skills. You will develop your knowledge to become a Retail Manager from the ground up.
What you'll do
Year 1: Gain experience in core business areas:
- Sales (store-based): Start as a Customer Assistant and progress towards store management.
- Logistics (warehouse-based): Learn logistics and warehousing fundamentals, rotating through core warehouse areas before joining the management team.
- Supply Chain (regional office-based): Understand product ordering, quality and freshness management, and supplier relations.
Year 2: Choose a specialist route in Store, Warehouse, or Supply Chain Management to hone your expertise and management experience.
What you'll need
- Achieved a 2:2 or higher in a Bachelor's Degree.
- Eligible to work in the UK on a full-time basis.
- Willingness to travel regularly to stores and live within a commutable distance from your chosen Regional Distribution Centre.
- A full UK driving licence by 1st February 2027.
- Assertiveness and confidence in communication to build strong relationships.
- A proactive, hands-on mindset with a desire to understand core operational processes.
