Retail Graduate Management Programme

This is a rotational, 23-month learning journey designed to give you exposure to Lidl's core business areas and build your leadership skills, knowledge, and business acumen to become a retail manager.

What You'll Do

Year 1:

• Sales (Store-based): Gain experience in key store roles, starting as a Customer Assistant and progressing towards store management.
• Logistics (Warehouse-based): Learn the fundamentals of logistics and warehousing, rotating through 3 core warehouse areas before joining the warehouse management team.
• Supply Chain (Regional Office-based): Understand product ordering, quality and freshness management, and supplier relations.

Year 2:

• Choose a specialist route in Store, Warehouse, or Supply Chain Management.
• Hone your expertise and management experience to advance your early career.

What You'll Need

• Achieved a 2:2 or higher in a Bachelor's Degree.
• Eligible to work in the UK on a full-time basis.
• Willingness to travel regularly and live within a commutable distance of your chosen Regional Distribution Centre.
• A full UK driving licence by 1st February 2027.
• Assertiveness and confidence in communication.
• A proactive, hands-on mindset with a desire to understand core operational processes.
• Enthusiasm to learn and develop in a fast-moving environment.
• Resilience and determination.
• Able to attend the assessment day on 14/01/2027.
