Project Management Office Analyst Placement (12 months)

This is a 12-month placement opportunity at Airbus in Stevenage, starting on 19 July 2027.

About Us

Space Systems at Airbus delivers ambitious projects. The Project Management Office (PMO) is crucial for driving key processes across all project phases in a fast-paced environment.

What you will be doing:

• Support the management of space programmes and projects using standard PMO processes, methods, and tools.
• Analyze and integrate quantitative and qualitative project data (time, cost, resources, quality) to support key decision-making and reporting.
• Assist in creating project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
• Contribute to risk and opportunity management, mitigation planning, and lessons learned capture.
• Track milestone performance, support phase reviews, and enable effective stakeholder communication.

Requirements:

• This placement is open to Undergraduates only. You must be an undergraduate for the entire duration of the placement.
• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in core productivity tools (Google Workspace and Microsoft Office).
• Strong collaborative mindset and proactive initiative.

Working Conditions:

• Salary: £24,500 per year
• Hours: 37 hours per week
• Working Options: Flexible working hours, Hybrid working options available.
• Holiday: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
• Other: Half day Fridays (subject to completing full hours prior to this).

Security Clearance:

You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
