About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic student to join our team specialising in Quality for our Plant VPI business unit in Huddersfield. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
This ON-SITE role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer 2027. As requirements are to be fully on-site, you will need to be able to travel or relocate to the location on your own behalf.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Assisting with the coordination of turbo approval activities for new product introduction - Line Approval process and handling of product
- Working both independently and within a team to support key tasks and projects
- Using problem solving skills to improve processes and procedures
- Representing and promoting Cummins Turbo Technologies to the customer, internally and externally
What You'll Need
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Working towards a degree in an appropriate Mechanical or Automotive Engineering discipline
- Understanding of industrial or production engineering
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
