About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Procurement Placement Student to join our team specializing in Purchasing for our Corporate/CBS Business segment in UK, Huddersfield. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry.
This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer of 2027.
What You'll Do
- Providing dedicated support to one or more Sourcing & Continuity teams within the office.
- Working with a group of suppliers to assist on Purchase Order management, cost reduction, capacity planning, quality performance and risk mitigation.
- Specific project work in support of functional objectives.
- Opportunity to work with other Business Units in the region to help share common processes, tools and resources to better achieve business goals.
- Data analysis to support Purchasing KPIs and specific project requirements.
- Engagement with other functions, including Supplier Quality, Material Planning, Finance and Engineering.
