Optical Assistant Apprenticeship - Haywards Heath Specsavers

This apprenticeship will train you to become a qualified Optical Assistant.

What You'll Do

• Give customers top-notch advice and a warm welcome.
• Book eye tests.
• Pre-screen patients and measure frames.
• Ensure the smooth running of the store by identifying and addressing any issues.

Training

• You will undertake the Level 3 Optical Assistant Apprenticeship Standard.
• Functional skills in maths and English will be provided if required.
• The programme includes an End-Point Assessment (EPA).
• Training is full-time, 5 out of 7 days a week, including weekend working.
• You will receive daily on-the-job training in the store; no college attendance is required.
• The training provider is Specsavers Optical Superstores Limited.

What Happens at the End

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will be a fully qualified Level 3 Optical Assistant with a wide range of career options.
