The Opportunity

You’ll launch your career in Nuclear Technical Engineering Services with our customised training programme. Taking on a real job at a junior level, you'll gain invaluable hands-on experience while being mentored by highly skilled professionals.

You’ll help support the work of the Technical Advice Group and be involved in planning and delivering engineering work. You’ll learn about systems and processes vital to the safe and effective operation of the station, including safety protocols, technical governance, quality assurance, analysis, communication strategies, and IT systems.

You’ll support engineers in investigating plant issues, developing fault-finding techniques, evaluating suitable repair strategies, and contributing to the engineering change process. You'll gain experience in reviewing technical information, supporting the delivery of engineering work packages, and helping ensure modifications and repairs are implemented safely and effectively.

Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to further develop Planning & Project Management skills and build a professional network to support the successful delivery of work packages.
