About the Role
Mechatronics is where mechanical engineering meets electrical engineering. It’s robotics, electronics, product engineering and more. It’s fixing the machines that we need to make our machines. Without you, the machines won’t just grind to a halt, they will stay that way.
What the Apprenticeship Involves
- For the first two years, you'll undertake a combination of block release training with our dedicated training provider and work-based learning at JCB, alongside several placement periods within a dedicated business unit.
- For the remaining time of the programme, you'll be based full-time at JCB, gaining valuable on-the-job experience in one of our business areas.
- You'll then complete your apprenticeship through a final practical assessment in the workplace, demonstrating the skills and knowledge you have developed throughout the programme.
