Who We Are
At the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, we aim to protect the people of Derbyshire, with law-abiding citizens and victims of crime at the heart of everything we do. The role of Derbyshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) is designed to bring communities and the police closer together, holding the police force to account. We need skilled people to contribute to the policing of Derbyshire.
We value diversity and inclusion and encourage applications from underrepresented and neurodiverse backgrounds to truly reflect the communities we serve. We welcome applications from individuals from all backgrounds and encourage anyone who has considered a career in policing to apply. We are particularly keen to increase the number of females, candidates from black and minority ethnic communities, and candidates from the LGBT community.
