About the Role
This is a 12-month Information Technology (IT) Industrial Placement starting in early September 2027. You will apply your technology skills to real-world challenges within EDF's low-carbon energy programme.
What You'll Do
- Gain hands-on experience in a dynamic technology environment, working with Solution Architects, Technical Architects, Security Architects and Project Teams.
- Contribute to innovative projects and develop skills in technology architecture and solution design.
- Support the development of solution designs, architecture documentation and technical artefacts within the Technical Assurance team.
- Gain exposure to enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, systems integration and solution governance.
- Ensure technology solutions align with organisational standards, security requirements and strategic objectives.

You will be based at the Satellite Delivery Centre (SDC) in Bridgwater.
Who You Are
- Studying towards, or have already achieved, a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- An interest in technology, digital innovation and solving complex business challenges.
- You will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which ordinarily requires you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.
