About the Role
Our vision is to restore and regenerate the health of our rivers and coastlines. As a team, we deliver resilient clean water and wastewater infrastructure solutions for clients across the UK and internationally.
You will be part of an integrated team of engineers, hydraulic modellers, and environmental scientists. You will develop practical skills in hydraulic modelling, catchment analysis, spatial data, technical reporting and collaborative project delivery. You will be supported by experienced specialists and given opportunities to contribute ideas, present your work and build experience towards professional membership.
Our work ranges from small-scale civil engineering projects to novel nature-based solutions and major infrastructure programmes of national significance. You'll be supported by a local network of technical specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysis and problem solving: Assessing large datasets, gap analysis and scoping future investigation needs. Working with contractors to specify and manage surveys, including site visits.
- Hydraulic modelling and solution development: Developing hydraulic models for urban drainage systems, rivers and coasts, assessing flow and water quality. You will receive bespoke modelling training and hands-on support. Contribute to solutions that improve river health, reduce flood risk and provide future infrastructure resilience.
- Collaboration: Communicating and collaborating internally and externally. Presenting and sharing your work, participating in reviewing and challenging designs.
- Safety, quality and excellence: Keeping good records of meetings, reports, workshops, technical reviews, data management, design decisions and technical outputs.
