About the Role
As a Graduate Software Engineer, you will create cutting-edge software for our hardware and be involved in the entire lifecycle of a product, from design and development to integration. You will be producing and maintaining a software design to meet a set of software requirements as well as using a software design to produce a deliverable software solution. The role will also involve testing a software solution to prove that it meets its design aims and requirements, supporting a software solution to address reported defects and/or add new functionality and maintaining a good working knowledge of Maritime Services software processes.

- Develop software components and features against defined requirements and technical specifications.
- Support software design activities, producing software solutions that are maintainable, reliable, and fit for purpose.
- Participate in software verification and validation activities, including unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and defect resolution.
- Contribute to software integration activities involving hardware, operating systems, middleware, and external interfaces.
- Produce and maintain software engineering artefacts, including requirements, design documentation, source code, test evidence, and technical reports.
