About the Role
This role involves supporting the delivery of business and technical projects by working with experienced Programme Managers, Service Delivery Managers, and Project Control professionals. You will gain exposure across the full project lifecycle, contributing to planning, control, and assurance. Potential responsibilities include Project Management Office support, Portfolio Management, and Service Delivery. You will help set up and close projects, manage finances, and assist with governance and reporting. You will also support senior managers, track risks, and monitor delivery performance. In Service Delivery, you will drive service improvements, manage incidents, and contribute to client reporting, gradually gaining more responsibility and autonomy.
Core Duties
- Perform non-complex project reporting and scheduling.
- Query resolution of basic and routine problems and attend on-the-job training as appropriate.
- Develop a knowledge of business processes and procedures.
- Utilise administration and general office skills including spreadsheets/Microsoft packages.
- Accountable as a member of the project management team for supporting development and implementation of appropriately tailored project management practices.
