Role Description

As a Network Engineer, you will work closely with Software, Systems, and Hardware Engineers to develop and deliver real-world systems that operate reliably and effectively. The role involves supporting the development, testing, maintenance, and release of network software and hardware solutions, while also contributing to the design and implementation of network architectures.

You will assist in resolving engineering challenges across programmes through requirements evaluation, problem solving, and the presentation of engineering deliverables. In addition, you will be responsible for producing and managing engineering documentation, including technical reports, meeting and briefing notes, presentations, and analyses relating to cost, schedule, and risk.

The role requires a strong understanding of networking technologies and topologies, including OSI Layers 1 to 3, as well as key networking principles and protocols such as LAN, VLAN, WAN, MPLS, QoS, and BGP.
