About the Role

The two-year Graduate GROW Programme supports your transition from student to professional, integrating you into client work and real projects from day one. Your journey will be unique, shaped by your chosen specialism and the variety of projects you contribute to. You will build technical expertise through meaningful client engagements and project work, while business acumen and professional skills will be developed through centrally delivered graduate cohort training. Although there are no formal rotations, you are encouraged and supported to proactively seek opportunities to broaden your experience and support your development.

About the Role

As an engineer joining GROW, you will specialise within your chosen discipline and obtain the appropriate experiences to become a technical expert. Being an Engineer at Arcadis involves applying a human filter to technical expertise and training, making an impact through innovation and creativity. During this two-year programme, you will develop core engineering and consulting techniques applicable to working with clients in the UK and potentially internationally.

Role Accountabilities

As a Graduate Asset Management Engineer, you will work with experienced professionals across sectors including water, energy, environment, transport, and industry. You will support the delivery of asset management solutions to help clients improve asset performance, manage risk, optimise investment, and deliver sustainable outcomes.

Within multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute to projects involving asset strategy, capital planning, reliability and maintenance, risk assessment, data analysis, and digital asset management solutions. You will help clients make informed decisions using asset information, engineering knowledge, and industry best practice. You will gain experience across the full asset management lifecycle, developing skills in ISO 55001 aligned asset management, asset investment planning, asset performance improvement, digital technologies, and data-driven decision making. Through structured training, mentoring, and project experience, you will build the technical, commercial, and consulting skills needed for a successful career in Asset Management.

  • You will demonstrate typical Arcadis skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking, and being a Team Player.
  • You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
  • Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (virtual working is embraced where possible).
