About the Role
Join Sky’s Finance team and get stuck into real work from day one, from supporting content and product decisions to helping shape our plans for the future. You’ll learn on the job, work towards your CIMA qualification and play a part in the commercial decisions that keep Sky moving forward.
Finance at Sky is about much more than numbers. Our Finance teams are at the heart of decision-making across the business, partnering with teams to turn financial information into actionable insight, manage budgets and performance, and help shape our ambitious plans. You’ll develop an understanding of how financial planning, analysis and commercial thinking come together to support great business decisions.
You’ll build your skills in budgeting, advising and influencing, while being part of a supportive graduate community.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll rotate through three placements over three years, building experience across different areas of Finance and the wider business. Our Finance rotations can give you exposure to areas including content, advertising and media, cost management, trading, Telco and subscriptions, helping you understand different business models, commercial levers and strategic challenges.
Alongside your rotations, you’ll work towards your CIMA qualification, developing the technical knowledge, commercial judgement and business-partnering skills you’ll use throughout your career. You’ll learn how to turn data, forecasts and budgets into insight, look ahead as well as understand past performance, and confidently communicate and influence stakeholders.
We’ll support you along the way, with paid study leave and exam days, as you combine professional study with real experience at Sky.
What we’re looking for
The one essential requirement is that you’re currently in the final year of your undergraduate degree, completing a postgraduate qualification, or have already graduated. Your degree can be in any subject.
Skills that will help you thrive:
- Passion for numbers and the energy you bring to the team
- Curious, ambitious, and ready to learn, you’ll fit right in
- Problem-solvers who work well with others
- Take initiative and want to make a real impact in a fast-moving business.
Right to work
Please be aware that Sky do not offer sponsorship for this role. Employment is contingent on you having a valid right to work in the UK for the full duration of the programme.
Your application journey
- Step 1 – Apply online: Tell us a bit about yourself — your details, your degree, and anything else you think we should know (like part-time jobs, volunteering, or cool projects you’ve worked on).
- Step 2 – Show us your skills: Complete two online assessments that help us get to know you better - how you think, what motivates you, how you might fit into the programme, and your numerical reasoning abilities.
- Step 3 – In-Person Assessment Centre: If you make it to the final stage, we’ll invite you to an in-person assessment day.
