This is a 3-year Finance Graduate Programme designed to accelerate your career in finance within one of the UK's largest retailers.
What You'll Do
You will gain hands-on finance experience while studying towards a professional CIMA accountancy qualification. The role is functionally led, with rotations through specialisms such as Controllership, Commercial Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Specialist Finance teams (Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations). You will build technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and leadership capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting financial planning, forecasting and budgeting activities
- Providing analysis and insight to support key business decisions
- Partnering with stakeholders to improve performance
- Supporting month-end reporting and financial control processes
- Identifying risks and opportunities through data analysis
- Contributing to finance transformation and continuous improvement projects
- Producing reports and presentations for senior stakeholders
- Maintaining robust financial governance and controls
You will also gain exposure to stores, depots, and the supply chain to understand customer, colleague, and operational impacts.
Qualifications & Training
- You will study towards your CIMA accounting qualification with Kaplan Financial, working towards becoming a Chartered Management Accountant.
- Full technical finance training will be provided, so no prior accounting knowledge or experience is needed.
