Equipment Supply Chain Industrial Placement

This 12-month Equipment (Supply Chain) Industrial Placement offers the opportunity to support one of the UK's largest infrastructure and energy projects. You will gain hands-on experience in contract management, supplier engagement, and strategic procurement, developing commercial, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

What You’ll Experience

As part of the Hinkley Point C project, you will contribute to the future of low-carbon energy. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting major procurement and supply chain activities.
• Working with suppliers, project managers, and stakeholders.
• Monitoring supplier performance.
• Assisting with contract management activities and governance processes.
• Contributing to commercial reporting and analysis.
• Supporting the use of commercial management tools (CEMAR, SAP).
• Preparing reports and board papers.

Your Work Location

• Based at #Bristol (Aztec West).
• Occasional visits to #HinkleyPointC (transport provided).

Who You Are

To be eligible, you must be studying towards, or have already achieved, a bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Geography, Science, Supply Chain and Logistics, or a closely related discipline. You should have an interest in commercial management, procurement, and supply chain delivery.

• You will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which ordinarily requires UK residency for at least three of the past five years.
