Within our Technology & Transformation business, we operate across four core teams: HR Strategy & Transformation, Organisation & Workforce Transformation, Major Programmes, and Actuarial, Insurance & Banking. This specific role is within the HR Applications team, which sits under HR Strategy & Transformation.
We are at the forefront of leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (GenAI) in HR, designing and implementing AI-powered solutions to transform HR functions and deliver exceptional employee experiences. We work with leading Cloud software technologies like Oracle, SAP, and Workday, as well as emerging technologies, to design and implement cutting-edge HR solutions that increase business efficiency across the employee lifecycle.
What You'll Do
As part of this 6-week Summer Vacation Scheme, you will gain expertise in developing, configuring, testing, and implementing Cloud software technologies with a focus on employee experience. You will have the opportunity to:
- Support clients in enhancing their HR technology landscape, integrating AI and GenAI solutions.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to understand organisational requirements and identify opportunities for AI-driven optimisation.
- Develop expertise in specific HR system areas (e.g., Recruitment, Performance Management, Integrations, Reporting) with an emphasis on leveraging AI and HR AI technologies.
- Host system demonstrations and knowledge transfer sessions with clients.
- Configure HR applications to align with client requirements and strategic aims, including the integration of AI components.
- Develop bespoke technical solutions such as management dashboards, reports, AI chatbots, and integrations using AI, GenAI, and HR AI technologies.
- Receive enhanced training and potentially become a certified implementation practitioner.
- Support the preparation of documents and presentations to deliver recommendations to clients, articulating the value of AI-driven HR transformation.
What We're Looking For
This programme is designed for university students who are performing well academically and wish to apply their skills in a professional setting.
- You must be in the penultimate year of your course, or progressing to a master’s degree.
- You need to be on track to achieve a predicted degree classification of 2:1 or above in any discipline.

Working Arrangements
We operate a hybrid working system, combining office and home working. Client-facing roles may require attendance at client sites. Your final assessment and induction will be in-person to facilitate networking and relationship building.
