Our Engineering Graduate Programme provides the ideal springboard for an exciting and significant career in global financial markets technology. This is a 12-month development opportunity for the Tech Savvy, aiming to fast-track your technical journey and develop your career in a leading fintech company.

What You'll Do

• Progress through a 12-month development journey aiming to build foundational skills.
• Build foundational knowledge of LSEG, Financial Markets and the business during your global induction.
• Participate in an 'Engineering Bootcamp' week to immerse you in the business and Engineering principles.
• Participate in group projects aligned to LSEG goals.
• Attend 'Ignite', the programme mid-point skills offsite, to explore key knowledge areas and skills.
• Access opportunities to earn industry-recognized qualifications, including 5 study days during the programme.
• Connect with the global early careers community and contribute to wider society via CSR initiatives and volunteering opportunities.

What We're Looking For

We are passionate about recruiting people with a genuine curiosity about Technology and a drive to pursue a Technology career path, as evidenced by their studies, extracurriculars, or work experience. It’s important that you can understand the breadth of our organisation, how it functions, and the vital role technology plays in supporting LSEG and our clients.

• Technology Interest: A strong interest in technology, proven via work experience, extracurricular activities, or academic studies (e.g., internship in a technology role, technology focus in a university project, learning to code).
• Financial Markets Interest: A demonstrable interest in financial markets, built through studies, work experience, or extracurricular activities.
• Analytical Skills: Curiosity for data and the ability to analyse information to draw conclusions and propose solutions.
• Strategic Thinking: Individuals who can connect the dots and think strategically.
• Resilience & Adaptability: Focus, resilience, and flexibility to adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with others, using communication skills effectively.
• Right to Work: Ideal candidates will have the right to work in the UK without restrictions for the duration of the graduate programme.

We are considering candidates beyond core software degrees (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Informatics) and candidates with Physics, Engineering, or Electronic degrees who can demonstrate an interest in Technology through extracurriculars, work experience, or personal projects.
