Dispenser NVQ

Superdrug is looking for individuals to join their pharmacy team in Melton Mowbray. This role is open to both qualified Dispensers and those with no prior pharmacy experience who are eager to start as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant.

This is a 3-month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension.

Hours: 36 hours per week, 4 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9 am-5 pm), with flexibility to cover holidays on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment.
• Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary.
• Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism.
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising.

What We're Looking For:

• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required – just a passion for healthcare and customer service.
• A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well in a team or independently.
• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Passionate about learning and open to training in additional services.

Salary:

• £13.80 per hour (Dispenser)
• £13.00 per hour (Trainee pharmacy assistant)
