From day one, you will contribute to real client work, learn from experienced colleagues, and gradually take on more responsibility. Your learning will primarily occur through client interactions, project discussions, and collaboration with colleagues.
Your Starting Point
You will join one of two key areas within Consulting: Finance Function Support or Risk and Governance. These areas will help you develop a valuable range of skills applicable across the Consulting division.
- Finance Function Support: Focuses on ensuring organisations have confidence in their finances, accurate reporting, compliance with standards, and readiness for future challenges.
- Risk and Governance: Involves understanding how organisations manage risk and ensuring they operate effectively and compliantly.
What You Could Be Doing
Your role will involve spending five days a week in the office or with clients. Depending on your chosen solution, your tasks may include:
- Preparing statutory financial statements and supporting financial reporting and compliance.
- Transforming financial information into actionable insights for client decision-making.
- Engaging with stakeholders at all levels within client organisations.
- Conducting interviews, reviewing documents, analysing data, and assessing risk management processes.
- Participating in the audit and assurance process, from planning to presenting findings.
- Developing and delivering practical recommendations to improve organisational operations.
What We Are Looking For
RSM is seeking curious individuals who are not afraid to ask questions, eager to get involved, and enjoy teamwork. Previous experience is not required.
Entry Requirements:
- A minimum of 112 UCAS points across three A levels (or equivalent Level 3 qualification).
- Alternatively, 104 UCAS points across four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or an Irish Leaving Certificate (higher level).
- Existing permanent right to live and work in the UK.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as required.
Note: General Studies, AS levels, and the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) are not accepted.
