About the Role
This is a two-year graduate programme designed to develop future sales leaders through structured training and hands-on experience. You will complete four rotations, each starting with formal training and sector-specific upskilling, followed by immersive sales roles. You will gain a deep understanding of how Sky Business operates and how we deliver solutions that add value to our clients.
What You'll Be Doing
Your journey begins with a comprehensive 4-week onboarding programme, covering product knowledge, sales craft, and shadowing opportunities. Each rotation builds on the last, with tailored training modules combining classroom learning, field visits, shadowing, and role play. You will be supported by coaching, mentoring, and continual development.
- First 6 months: Based in our Leeds office in a desk-based role, developing core skills and connecting with your graduate cohort.
- After 6 months: Opportunity to be based from Leeds or Osterley, with national travel to meet clients.
Key Roles During the Programme:
- Desk-Based Graduate Sales Executive: Build foundational skills in prospecting, outreach, and customer engagement.
- Field Sales Graduate Executive: Focus on strategic customer conversations and identifying customer challenges to position tailored solutions.
- Wholesale Graduate Account Manager: Manage relationships with Sky’s ISP partners to drive connectivity sales.
This programme offers a strong foundation in both commercial strategy and client-facing sales. You’ll gain insight into business strategy, data analytics, commercial negotiating and decision-making, while also developing hands-on experience working directly with clients.
What We're Looking For
- Currently in the final year of your undergraduate degree, completing a postgraduate qualification, or have already graduated. Your degree can be in any subject.
- A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Able to relocate to Leeds for the first 6 months.
- Willingness to travel across the country.
- Confidence in face-to-face communication.
- A proactive, target-driven mindset.
- A passion for technology, media, and customer success.
