About the Internship

This Summer Business Analyst Internship Programme is designed to give you a realistic preview of our Business Graduate Programme and a career with LSEG.

LSEG is a key player in trading services, supporting global businesses and economies. Join our Markets division to help power financial markets and manage risk.

This internship combines our Capital Markets and Post Trade businesses, offering exposure to raising capital, trading across asset classes, clearing portfolios, and managing risk. You'll be involved in enabling company listings, supporting post-trade operations, and delivering data and identity verification services. You'll gain experience with platforms like FXall and Tradeweb, work with international clients, and contribute to the future of financial markets.

This is an excellent opportunity for students in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) fields to apply their skills in a business-focused role. During recruitment, we'll assess your skills and interests to align you with business needs for your first rotation.

What We're Looking For

We seek individuals passionate about understanding LSEG's organisation and contributing to its growth.

• A demonstrable interest in financial markets, developed through studies, work experience, or extracurricular activities.
• Proficiency with large datasets and coding languages (Python, SQL), or familiarity with tools like Tableau and Power BI.
• Curiosity for data, with the ability to analyse information, draw conclusions, and propose solutions.
• Strategic thinkers who can connect ideas and see the bigger picture.
• Focus, resilience, and flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Studying Engineering, Finance, or Economics with a strong interest in FinTech/Technology.
• Right to work in the UK without restrictions for the programme's duration.

Application Process

• Application & Resume Submission: The first step is to submit your application and resume.
• Online Assessment: An untimed Immersive Online Assessment to simulate working at LSEG.
• Video Interview: A strength-based interview answering a series of questions.
• Assessment Centre: A half-day assessment involving various exercises (details provided upon invitation).

All assessment centres are held virtually.
