About the Role

About Audit

Audit at BDO offers the chance to take on meaningful work early in your career. As the only UK mid-market organisation with more than £1bn in turnover and 8,000 people, you'll experience the scale and breadth of a major professional services business while contributing to clients where your impact is significant.

Our Audit teams specialise in areas such as Pension Audit, Public Sector, Not-for-Profit, Financial Services, and Technology Risk Assurance, delivering high-quality audits that build trust.

You will be entrusted with significant responsibility, supported by experienced colleagues, managers, directors, and partners who will share their knowledge and aid your development. This is an opportunity to learn by doing, gain client exposure, and build confidence as your responsibilities grow.

About the Programme

This three-year programme combines hands-on experience with working towards the recognised professional qualification, the ACA.

You will develop technical and commercial skills through real Audit work, potentially gaining experience across diverse clients, sectors, and specialist areas, learning from colleagues across the organisation.

As you progress, your responsibilities will increase. Graduates have reported joining client calls, leading meetings, and working directly with senior colleagues earlier than anticipated. You will receive support as you advance your career.

Upon successful completion of the programme and passing exams, you will be a fully qualified accountant and guaranteed a permanent role.

About You

We are looking for individuals who are curious, resilient, and adaptable, eager to learn, ask questions, and take on increasing responsibility.

Your problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills will be put into practice with our support for your continued development.

This role is based in our Nottingham hub. You must live within a commutable distance of the office, as relocation support is not provided.
