About the Role
Audit matters to everyone. We independently check company financial reports so the public, investors and businesses can trust the numbers. The landscape for audit reporting is changing fast, with increasing use of AI and other technologies. We need to audit AI financial systems and processes, so the scope of our work is always growing. We’re shaping the future of audit.
What You'll Do
As companies share financial and business results, you'll check the information is accurate using proven testing methods. You'll look closely at how figures are produced and learn to spot and question discrepancies.
Through our Early Careers training programme, you'll build professional, technical, and communication tools. You'll work creatively and collaboratively, growing your problem-solving, commercial, digital, and analytical skills. Eventually, you'll help develop others and lead small teams, auditing a huge range of global businesses.
Our Audit practice has two core groups:
- Large & Complex Audit: Includes listed companies (corporate and financial services) and their subsidiaries, banks, insurers, large private companies, and public sector organisations.
- Portfolio Audit: Spans a wide range of sectors including emerging and large private corporates, real estate funds, pension schemes, financial services brokers, and investment managers. This offers the opportunity to work with privately-owned, dynamic, entrepreneurial, and high-growth businesses.
Where You'll Work
We operate a hybrid system, with a combination of office and home working. Client-facing roles may require attendance at client sites. Meetings will be a mix of online and in-person. Your final assessment and induction will be in-person.
Flexibility can be discussed for health conditions or caring responsibilities.
