About the Role
About the Audit Team
Audit matters to everyone. We independently check company financial reports so the public, investors and businesses can trust the numbers. The audit landscape is changing fast, with increasing use of AI and technology to automate processes and improve accuracy. We also audit AI financial systems, so the scope of our work is always growing. We’re shaping the future of audit.
What You'll Do
This is a rewarding leap into professional services where you'll gain real-world experience while being paid to learn and progress. You'll work directly with major organisations and build skills through our excellent training programme. Early on, you'll be given responsibility for developing people and managing teams, with our support. You'll gain exposure to different organisations, understanding how they operate and the economic and industry issues that matter to them. You'll think creatively, solve problems, and learn to use technology to future-proof your career.
Our Audit business has two core areas:
- Large & Complex Audit: Includes listed companies (corporate and financial services), their subsidiaries, and other public interest entities like banks, insurers, large private companies, and public sector organisations.
- Portfolio Audit: Covers a wide range of sectors including emerging growth and large private corporates, real estate funds, pension schemes, financial services brokers, and investment managers. This area offers the opportunity to work with privately-owned, dynamic, entrepreneurial, and high-growth businesses.
Where You'll Work
We operate a hybrid system, combining office and home working, recognising the importance of face-to-face interaction for development and the need for flexibility. Client-facing roles may require attendance at client sites. Meetings will be a mix of online and in-person. Your final assessment and induction will be in-person to facilitate networking.
All workspaces are accessible. If you require further flexibility due to a health condition or caring responsibilities, please discuss this with our team.
