About the Role

About the Team

Audit matters to everyone. When a company shares its financial results, people need to know those numbers are accurate. Audit independently checks company financial reports so the public, investors, and businesses can trust what they're seeing. This role protects people and makes a genuine difference.

Our Technology & Data team empowers Audit & Assurance teams by analysing, interpreting, and validating data and models from the businesses we audit. This enhances audit quality and efficiency across all industries and systems, transforming the future of audit.

What You'll Do

This four-week placement puts you at the heart of our business, surrounded by experts. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the largest listed and privately-owned firms in banking, insurance, and various corporate sectors.

You will be challenged to think critically and solve complex problems, whilst working within a supportive and collaborative team.

What We're Looking For

  • High-achieving university students in the penultimate year of an undergraduate course, or going onto a Master's.
  • On track for a 2:1 or higher degree classification in any discipline.
  • We have identified 10 core skills that are essential to all of our roles in Early Careers. Please visit the 'Discover What We Look For' section in our Candidate Zone for more details.

Where You'll Work

Deloitte operates a hybrid system, with a combination of office and home working. Client-facing roles may require attendance at client sites on certain days. Meetings will be a mix of online and in-person events.

All workspaces are accessible. If you require further flexibility due to a health condition or caring responsibilities, please discuss this with the team.
