Apprentice Nursery Practitioner - Buttercups

Partou Nurseries is seeking an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join their team at the Buttercups setting.

This apprenticeship offers a chance to train as an Early Years Practitioner, earning while you learn and working towards a professional qualification. You will gain hands-on experience in childcare, including planning and maintaining children's records, understanding safeguarding policies, and ensuring the wellbeing of the children.

Responsibilities

• Observe experienced practitioners.
• Take on meaningful responsibilities such as planning and maintaining children's records.
• Develop an understanding of safeguarding policies.
• Share responsibility for the health, safety, cleanliness, and overall wellbeing of the children.
• Help plan and deliver activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Training and Development

• You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard.
• This includes Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours, and Functional Skills in Maths and English if required.
• Training will be delivered by Realise.
• On-the-job training will be provided, with off-the-job learning incorporated into the working day.

What Happens Next

• Upon completion of the Level 2 apprenticeship (typically within 12 months), you can progress to the Level 3 Pathway.
