Apprentice Maintenance Engineer

What You Will Do

• Support reactive and planned maintenance activities across the site.
• Communicate with operational departments, managers and team leaders.
• Follow GXO engineering systems, procedures and best practices.
• Maintain accurate engineering records.
• Learn fault-finding techniques and equipment repairs.
• Undertake training and development as part of the apprenticeship.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and customers.
• A keen eye for detail, good maths skills and a genuine interest in engineering.
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ambition and a genuine desire to learn and grow.

Pay, Benefits and More

• Salary: £26,000.00 per annum.
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 15:00 or 08:00 – 16:00.
• Holiday: 33 days holiday pay (inclusive of bank holidays), with the option to buy additional days.
