Apprentice Chef

As an Apprentice Chef with Hungry Horse, you will prepare, cook, and present food that meets specifications and customer expectations. You will maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen, communicate clearly with your team to provide high-quality meals on time, and keep up to date with new products, menus, and promotions.

What Your Apprenticeship Includes

• This apprenticeship is delivered through work-based training, including face-to-face sessions and remote Team calls with your Lifetime Learner Coach every 6 weeks. You will also have a mentor within the workplace.
• You will obtain Functional Skills in English and Maths if you don’t already have GCSE or equivalents.
• Reviews will be held every 12 weeks with the Apprentice, Line Manager, and Lifetime Learner Coach, including feedback sessions.
• You will join our unique Chef Academy, with the opportunity to attend four masterclasses designed to teach you expert knowledge and technical skills in different areas of cooking.
